A man becomes lost in the woods, tormented by a ghostly voice that seems to lead him further into the trees. As he struggles to escape, he begins to question what is real and why he is trapped in the first place. The voice, persistent and haunting, forces him to confront his confusion and doubt as he searches for a way out. *DIRECTORS NOTE** This is a re-edit of a short film I originally created four years ago, titled Xylem. I wasn’t satisfied with how it turned out, both in terms of its visual style and overall execution. For this new version, I’ve reworked the edit to improve the visuals, enhance the sound, and incorporate fresh music. The tone has also been adjusted to be less "creepy" and more in line with my original vision.
